Jordan Manasieski creates a huge opus. For more than half a century, directly, very deeply and constantly, he has positioned Macedonian art on a high creative and spiritual position.
His existence is across a wide and vast horizon. The art that he creates and presents is a kind of pure light extract, which appears not only to elevate the deep artistic traces.
Man, especially in today’s world, manages to notice only a very small part, almost insignificant, of the Light. That his sinking into the darkness of civilization is tragic and almost insignificantly separated from the essence of existence. That his distancing has opened the space for the manipulation of existence – a false reality, a false light, a false life is served. That labyrinth increasingly brings the human phenomenon towards a dead end and powerlessness, completely losing the feelings and knowledge of the worlds created by the Love of the universal essence.
Manasieski’s painting, in addition to the exceptional motif, composition, sensual, artistically rich expansions, contains an authentic, essential speech that is connected with that love of the Creator in a universal and timeless dimension. It is not just painting, it is a deep immersion into all the invisible spectra of light from which time, space, existence, the spirit of the universe are created. His strokes with the palette knife are not strokes of artistic weaving, they are his rich layering that reveals the polyphonies of the worlds invisible to us, it is the alchemical procedure through which he reveals the endless dimensions of the spirit, the timelessness, the indestructibility of what the Creator has given us. In his paintings, linear time does not exist, the three-dimensionality of space does not exist. These are parts of much more complex openings and discoveries. These are visualizations of spiritual lights, through them Manasieski sees, discovers, conveys the immortal essences, the endless existences of Love, the events that were, are and will be, not as our humble powerlessness to penetrate the essence thinks or experiences. It is a super-painting that moves through the stellar paths in which the light from which we are created is deposited and crystallized and from which the worlds of truth and eternal memory are recreated, of what makes life have a deep reason and meaning.
That reason and meaning are not in the vaults of the “reality” of vulgar materialism that corrodes the already worn out “civilizational” unnecessary matrix.
These are images that are placed in the eternal memory of those worlds from which we originate and from which we have come, transparent and bright.
The emergence of Manasieski is not just a visual phenomenon, in planetary terms, it is a re-creation with spiritual light.
These are paintings that are signposts and a silent but intense awakening of our apathy and complete indifference.
These are paintings that move through our reality buried in the depths that we have abandoned.
These are paintings that radiate and before which we will either look at ourselves to understand ourselves or continue in the ever deeper sinking of the absence of hope, in the cold and lifeless darkness.
Jordan Manasieski’s painting has long ago abandoned the paths of visual art seen only as an aesthetic, gifted and creative act.
It is a creation of a much higher and deeper existence. Manasieski is not just a painter, he discovers the Universe through painting.
What he manages to express without interruption through his visual prayers is the divine particle from which we are created, that painterly light of his comes to us from another time, it is a revelation that remains before us to perceive, discover, realize, it is a painting of all our spiritual portraits that remain in his endless horizon of immortality and eternity.
