Jordan Manasijeski is the only representative from Macedonia at the International Biennial of Mediterranean “MeART” in Palermo, Italy …

The prestigious Biennial for Contemporary Art with participation of over 600 artists from around the world will be held from March 9 to 12, 2017. An event organized by the most famous Italian curator for contemporary art Paolo Levi, Salvatore Russo and Sandro Serradiflco in collaboration with prominent figures from the world of culture, painting, photography, and design.

A special part of the Biennial is VIP zone selected by Salvatore Russo.

Paolo Levi, the author and curator of this fascinating cultural event, presents 60 selected works by European and American authors who mark the contemporary painting at the beginning of the 21st century, among which the work of the Macedonian painter Jordan Manasijeski was chosen. These works will be presented in a special setting selected through an expressive research of contemporary art, with a criterion of museum-esthetic caliber, explicitly even subconsciously, counting them as successors of the contents of art history.

It is very important for us that the painting of Jordan Manasijeski as a representative of Contemporary Macedonian Art is highly regarded by Italian art criticism and deserves to be included in authors whose works have high aesthetic and creative value with a museum criterion. From this event it is expected that a printed edition will be made an exclusive monograph in which these selected authors will be presented that level the flows of the new contemporary art and leave a permanent seal in the history of art.
